****Updated horse show dates for 2008****
Whether you are a first time rider looking for a great barn to start taking lessons, a long time horse owner searching for a top notch facility for your horse to call home, or someone interested in the exciting world of showing horses ... this is the place for you.
We are a family
owned and operated professional horse training facility that has been in the
Saddlebred business for over 20 years. Tom & Diane Wentz and Joe & Lori Sarnie
are the owners of the stable, and Tom Wentz and daughter Tara Wentz are the
trainers. The atmosphere is one of family, fun, good friends, and an
exhilarating learning experience for all ages from 6 to 60.
Wentz Stables offers training, showing, sales,
lessons, and boarding. We teach and train english, western, equitation and driving at both
the competitive level and also for pleasure. We compete in a variety of shows
ranging from the local shows for beginners all the way to the World
Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Our specialty is the American Saddlebred,
Morgan, and Hackney, in addition to training various other breeds.
This gorgeous facility is nestled high on one of the highest points in the
Lehigh Valley. We have a beautiful 28 acre farm with a brand new 50 stall
facility. Amenities include a 72 x 160 foot indoor riding arena, 100 x 200
outdoor ring, a second smaller outdoor ring, a 2 mile outdoor driving track, 1/8
mile indoor track, ample pastures, heated indoor customer lounge with full kitchen, full
bathroom, 3 grooming racks, private customer tack room, a bridle path circling
entire property and minutes from the scenic game lands. This "country club" for
horse lovers offers everything imaginable.
We are located in Orefield, Pennsylvania. We are conveniently located less than
3 miles from I-78, 10 minutes outside of Allentown, and about an hour's drive
from Harrisburg and Philadelphia.
